American Top 40 ran Saturday, 26 December 1970. It revived memories of what was happening during the last week
of 1970 I didn't notice it at the time, bur that winter was different from 1969-70, when I froze in January. I
needed help over half those mornings, three were around five below zero (-21ºC). After beginning the route in January
1969, I never thought a winter in Mountain Top could be so cold. Going through puberty in the summer of 1970 helped.
